In larger Kafka setups nobody knows exactly who owns which topic, what storage and traffic cost, or how to replay messages without risk.
What I built
- Storage and traffic costs per topic, with ownership for topics and consumer groups and chargeback reports.
- Planned replays with a dry run before anything is sent again.
- Works with Apache Kafka, AWS MSK and Confluent Platform, metrics via Prometheus JMX.
